Not Doing Enough

I went for my 2 hours(actually 90 minutes) of exercise today, and I just don't feel like it was enough. I wanted to do more, but I had things to do today so I couldn't stay longer. I actually did 2 hours yesterday and I'm still sore from it. I plan on doing another 30 minutes,at least, tonight because I just don't feel like I'm doing enough! I don't feel like my body is changing enough. I still have my pouch, I still have my thighs, and the weight isn't really coming off like it should. I know it's only been a couple of weeks,and nothing will happen over night, but dammit I want some results. I trying to watch my eating habits, and it's getting to  the point where I'm afraid to eat some things which isn't good. 


I've been thinking about buying this 30 Day Shred DVD,but I don't know yet. I think I'll be better off creating my own circuit training workout. I think I can push myself hard enough. I think I may research exercises later tonight and put together my own workout. When I'm done, I will post it on here  and on my Sparkpeople page.

My weigh in was today and I weighed in at 153.2. I haven't been under 155 since I was in Baltimore,and I'm almost down to the weight I was when I was there. My next goal weight is 150,and I want to get down to it by next Monday. Yep, I want to lose 3.2 pounds this week. I really want to do it just to see if I can. Plus I get a good check next week and I want to buy one of those new VS Beauty Rush scents. The ones they have out for the Summer. The Lemonade scent is to die for! Anyway, I want to be down to 150 by next Monday even though I know I shouldn't lose more than 2 pounds a week, doing it once isn't that bad is it? 

I really think I can do it if I eat the right food, exercise daily,and work really hard. The only way to find out if it happens is to stay tuned to next week!!!

Swimsuit Options

I went to Target tonight to look for a new workout DVD(it's funny how one DVD can be $9.98 online,but $14.98 in the store), but I couldn't help but look at the swimsuits that they had out this year. I went over there just to "look" assuming that nothing over there would fit. I decided to pick up one of the XL bikini tops, just to see how much of my boob it would cover, and it looked like it covered pretty well so I took a chance and brought it to the dressing room. After tying on my and adjusting it, it didn't look too bad. I wasn't falling out the sides too much,there was enough cleavage to look sexy and not slutty, and it was kinda comfortable. It was a triangle halter which I read was great for busty women.

After walking around for a little bit, I just couldn't resist going back over there and seeing what else I could fit. This time I brought back 3 full suits. A string, a triangle top, and a bandeau top. All by Mossimo Black.

I tried on this swimsuit first, and it was completely too small. The bottom was cut small, because I usually wear a medium and this one didn't fit. Either that or my booty is getting bigger. As for the top, I was afraid I might break it. Even with adjusting it just didn't work, so this one was a no no. However, for anyone who likes this style and doesn't have ginormous boobs, it's $19.99 per piece.

This was actually the same cut as the first top that I tried on, so I knew that it would fit well. I just wanted to see how I would look in a full bikini. I really like this bottom and it fit really well. Like I said earlier I had to do a little adjusting to make the girls look nice, but I didn't look like a Hustler centerfold. $17.99 per piece.


This I really thought wasn't going to fit me at all, but it ended up being the most flattering. I love the way the top looked on me mostly because it made the girls look smaller!!! It showed off my torso and the bottom fit great!!! I wanted to buy this suit right then, but I remember that I was broke and it cost $19.99 per piece. I'll get it next week then for motivations, if it's still there. There was only one XL top for that swimsuit, so I hope no one gets it. But If they do I have a back up.

I didn't get a chance to try this one on, but I'm hoping that it fits the same way as the other one. It's only $17.99 per piece, so it'll be a little bit softer on my pockets.


I'm so excited that I found these suits! I should of just went to Target in the first place, because I remember trying on a swimsuit last Summer that fit from there. I'm just hoping that they have at least one of those tops in my size(I'm praying that bandeau top is still there). This will be my motivation to stay on my diet, to look good in my bikini for my birthday and the 4th of July, which is what I'm really looking forward to. I will be the fiercest person on the beach!

Grocery Shopping

Today is payday and my check should be at my job by now. It's suppose to be a really nice check, so tomorrow I'll get my Summer lay a way out(unless I have time before work today) and I'll go to wal mart right after and get some healthy snacks, my protein,and some fruits and veggies to help me on my way to making my goal. As of today, I haven't lost any weight and it's kind of depressing, but there's always next week and if I buy the right food along with my workout, I should drop some pounds. The only thing is that my budget for this week is between $20 and $30. I don't know how much I can get for that, but if I shop anything like I did last summer I'll be able to manage. Here's my very vague shopping list:

Almonds
Soy Milk
Apples
Fruit
Yogurt
Veggies
Protein

I don't even like almonds, actually I never gave them a chance, but I'll give them a try. I'm trying to stay away from any food that comes out of a box or a drive thru window. With the exception of my Saturday teriyaki, which is ok because I barely eat on Saturdays. Anyway, let me go shower and get dress and go pick up this check. Hopefully this diet will work and I don't end up in the Taco Bell drive thru this weekend!

The Bikini By My Birthday Challenge will hopefully have me looking like the lovely lady above by my birthday. It's going to run into my BHM team challenge of losing 15 in 30, but for this one I'm going to go for my last 10 pounds. Yep, I want to be at 130 by my birthday. More and more details will be unveiled as the start date, May 30th, gets closer. I just know I'm going to be eating very clean and doing a lot of cardio.

But wait? If I get down to 130 by the end of June, doesn't that mean I have to change the name of my blog? Maybe, but I'll worry about that when I get there, but until then....

Resting On My Rest Day...

So tomorrow is my official rest day. I decided to take Friday and Sunday off as my official days of rest. Friday because that's payday,and I usually work,so by the time I go cash my check and run my errands it's time for me to go to work. Sunday is for obvious reason, because it is the official day of rest, but I still end up going running or something on that day. Especially if I don't get a chance to get anything done on Saturday.

This week I've been working out every single day. Either strength or cardio or both and I'm just don't think that I'll be able to rest. I really believe that my body will just want to workout, and I think I'm going to let it. I might do a couple of crunches, or maybe do a quick Core Rhythms workout (which is my new favorite DVD, and I don't even like workout DVDs), or maybe take an early morning walk. Just something to keep me active, but not as much as I usually do.

Goal Dress


This is my motivation to reach my goal. It's super tight and has no room for error. It's by American Apparel and since I'm curvy I'll still have to get the larger size and take it in, but I want it so bad!!!
